Hi, I’m Nicole. Inspired by land and sea, I craft ceramic jewellery from a small studio on Gayamagal land, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Here inspiration is taken from my surroundings – hidden harbour beaches and rock pools, sandy bush tracks, the salty air, and the bushland beyond.

Noticing beauty in the small details – a broken piece of shell, the layered tones of a rock – I pour this inspiration into each piece of ceramic jewellery I create. When a customer wears a Meraki Fire jewel, I hope they feel a connection to the natural environment, its beauty and shape, and the happiness this brings.

I work with a range of porcelain, inky black and iron flecked clays. I also shape, texture, and solder silver hoops, hooks and other components using ethically sourced recycled silver. Offering slow crafted, artisanal Australian jewellery, to all the lovely souls who value this very thing. Thank you for being here, I hope you find something you love.
