Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Nicole. Inspired by land and sea, I handcraft ceramic jewellery on Gayamagal land in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Australia. Here inspiration is taken from my surrounding nature – harbour beaches, rockpools, sandy bush tracks, and the bushland beyond.

I adore working with porcelain, inky black, and iron flecked clays – shaping and texturing each piece by hand, before layering with glaze and firing in my kiln. Recycled silver is then carefully  formed to finish each piece.

When a customer wears Meraki Fire, I hope they feel a connection to nature, and the artisan heart in every piece.
