New objects & jewellery

I’m currently working on two new bodies of ceramic objects, including hand formed ceramic vases and dishes, crafted from a rich red clay and pearly white porcelain.

I’m also adding new jewellery each month, including pieces finished in Australian sourced gold. I’ve been working and testing these additions for a while, and I’m excited to soon be releasing them to the site.

I love the organic shapes and colours that Nicole uses, they are simple yet elegant and perfect for any occasion. It’s very clear that Nicole puts a lot of love and care into all her designs and I love her ethos of using sustainable, ethical materials. I look forward to adding to my collection in the future 😊

I love my Meraki Fire earrings. The beautiful colours and textures go so well with my clothes. I have always found it hard to find unique stud earrings that I can wear to work and Meraki Fire has totally filled that gap for me. Can’t wait for my next set ❤️

Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Nicole. Inspired by land and sea, I handcraft ceramic jewellery on Gayamagal land in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Here inspiration is taken from my surrounding nature – harbour beaches, rockpools, sandy bush tracks, and the bushland beyond.

I adore working with porcelain, inky black, and iron flecked clays – shaping and texturing each piece by hand, before layering with glaze and firing in my kiln. Recycled silver is then carefully  formed to finish each piece.

When a customer wears Meraki Fire, I hope they feel a connection to nature, and the artisan heart in every piece.
