Ceramic earrings, studs, pendants and wall art, each piece made by hand from Australian clay and finished in recycled sterling silver, 14k gold filled wire and natural fibres.
Hi, I’m Nicole. Inspired by land and sea, I handcraft ceramic jewellery and objects on Gayamaygal land in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Australia. Here inspiration is taken from the surrounding nature – harbour beaches, rockpools, sandy bush tracks, and the bushland beyond.
I adore working with mid fire porcelain, iron bearing, and inky black pottery clays – shaping and texturing each piece by hand, before layering with glaze and firing in my kiln. My handmade ceramic earrings are all finished with Australian sourced sterling silver or 14k yellow gold wire.
When a customer wears Meraki Fire, I hope they feel a connection to nature, and the artisan heart in every piece.

A closer look at the studio, materials, process and natural environment behind the work.
Porcelain can be a demanding clay to work with. Here’s why I use mid fire porcelain.
